(Update: I left Chongqing and now live in Guangzhou) It doesn't look like there's a lot of young men in their 20ies working in shipbuilding. And I probably chose the wrong place to live in (北部新区 - and no, it's not simply developping, it's just DOA). But hey, I never thought I was simplifying my life when I left Italy. I've been in China since March 2008, and I love this country, but my unabashed taste for cynicism is likely to get me into trouble. |
