Greetings! I'm James, just moved from San Francisco to start teaching as my second big career change. I've been a chef for the past 10 years, and worked in foreign language translation for 20 years before that. I follow my heart, always. I visited China a couple of years ago and decided this is where I'd like to kick off my teaching career. Would love to keep up with my Spanish, Italian, Japanese, and French skills (some good, some middling). My Mandarin is coming along... I'm teaching IELTS prep courses at CQ Normal Uni, way out west at the end of metro line 1 (Jiandingpo station). I'd love to meet friendly people and get some CQ guidance from time to time.
