New sunday CAFE CQ

The NEW Sunday C.A.F.E CQ group. This group was set up way back in 2008 and has been meeting ever since; recently however we have had a restructure of organizers. We thank Jim, who has been running the club faithfully for the last 5 years and has finally decided to hand the reins over. The CAFE meetings are now run by a volunteer committee who take it in turns to host the meetings. Some weeks we’ll have the usual CAFE meetings which involve meeting for drinks, cultural exchanges and friendships with people from all over the world (hence the name C.A.F.E = cultural and friendship exchange). Other weeks may include group activities and trips out. We choose to speak in English because it is an international language that most people can speak. We are NOT an English language group where people come to get free lessons (if you are looking for free English lessons then please look at the forums listings as there are many English exchange groups in Chongqing). Instead, we offer a place where people can get to know each other (both locals and foreigners) and form friendships. We have a steady flow of long standing members and we always welcome new comers. So, if you are new to CQ or would just like to extend your social circle, why not join us for drinks and a chat.
