Chonburi Thai Restaurant

Chonburi Live Music & Restaurant is the new kid on the block besides House of Heddy at Fortune Mall. Apparently the tom yum kung is very good as they ran out by 7.30pm. For those who love spicy and sour, try the steamed fish with lime. Shrimp pies is not recommended as it is not what you might have taste before which is known as Fried Shrimp Cake. Fried mixed vegetable was delicious though a bit spicy. Price is a bit steep compared to other Thai restaurants in town. Strictly not recommended for those who wants to relax and have dinner conversation as the pipe in music is way too loud, live band starts at 8.30pm as well as the flashing disco lights which one may required sunglasses. Owner was not very accomodating despite telling him the music was way too loud during dining.

The al fresco dining area might be better though not possible now during summer. Until the owner knows how to accommodate to what the diners need and not what he wanted, this place is not worth visiting till autumn.

Price   : CNY 150 - 200 per person
Rating : 2 Star
